Senior Exams- At Westlake Animal Hospital, we realize the importance of your pet’s senior years. Nutritional Counseling/Prescription diets- During your visit, nutritional counseling will be given to help provide your pet a longer healthier life. Westlake Animal Hospital offers a variety of prescription foods for various health concerns for patients that have more serious nutritional challenges or chronic conditions. If we diagnose a particular problem in your pet, we will advise you which diet will be most beneficial. Please check with us if your pet needs a prescription diet that we do not carry, as we may be able to order it for you.
Therapy laser- Laser therapy is a newer foundation in veterinary medicine. The class IV therapy laser is used to help decrease inflammation at a cellular level and can be used for orthopedic or soft tissue injuries. Pharmacy on site- Our on-site pharmacy offers a wide variety of medications, making it convenient for you and your pet to get immediate therapy. We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, shampoos, diets, and oral and topical heartworm and flea preventions as well.
